Welcome to the Australia, New Zealand & Indo-Pacific Forum
Welcome to the Australia, New Zealand & Indo-Pacific Forum on Spearboard. I am pleased to set this new forum up as part of our international expansion plans. I spent two weeks in both Australia and New Zealand on an around-the-world trip I did some years ago. What a fantastic part of the world!

Re: Welcome to the Australia, New Zealand & Indo-Pacific Forum
If I were 20 years younger, single and knew then what I know now I would have moved to Australia, probably the Northern Territory around Darwin or maybe somehwere north of Cairns. That is, if they would have let me in!
It really is a great country and the people have a fantastic sense of humor. I have been to Papua New Guinea 4 times working (diving) and worked with the Australians in New Britian (Alan Raabe). It has always been a great experience. Two years ago we worked out of Darwin, to the east around the Wessel Islands. Visibility was not good, but an incredible amount of fish. I got to spend a month and honestly did not want to come home. Possibly, in another life I will get ot choose what country I am born in, and it will definitley be Australia! Don |

Australia is overpriced, hence anything in it is pricey us guys in the states. whether a bottle of water or a dive mask

Could use a little help promoting this World Spearfishing Event. Our US team still has opening for women and Juniors and Masters 60+ But our foreign divisions have lots of opening. Please review the web site above and call me with any questions I really appreciate the help in passing this on Mike McGuire 970-216-5902 |
