Re: Reef Gun

Rob Allen 110-120.

If youre hunting the clear waters of the keys i would go with a 130.

Re: Reef Gun

Dude, buy a rob allen its cheaper and way more stonger. If you are diving in deep and clear water you should go with a 140 cm with a 7.5 mm shaft, you cant go wrong!!!
The euro riffe is a very good speargun!!

Re: Reef Gun

I've been using the Rob Allen 140cm for the past month or so Reef Diving. If you have any current or wave action you'll want to go a bit smaller ie 130cm. Although the range is amazing and I've been able to Zap Snappers from quite a distance, there's been a few times when I had fish come by close and if I'd had a smaller gun I might have nailed them. I got this 140cm because I plan to use it in the Blue Too. If you are just going to use the gun on the reef, you might go a little smaller ie 130cm. Other than that. Good Gun, very powerful.

Re: Reef Gun

SeaSniper Reef Pro 130, enclosed track wood euro.
I use it with a mori slip tip or flopper with excellent results.
The riffe euro is a good gun, but a SS Reef Pro is much better.

yeah if he wants to spend half a million dollars on a gun....
go with a rob allen 130 or riffe 120, i think the rob allen would be best and cheapest, but either gun would be a great choice.

Re: Reef Gun

If you're interested in rail guns, I would take a good look at Aimrite. I have a buddy who shoots a 130cm RA and, although he'll never admit it, deep down inside he wishes he had my Aimrite Venom. No worries though, you will be happy with either gun.
