Stolen West Marine RIB model 350 6hp Nissan

Hey folks my friend Pete recently bought the RIB as a diving platform and a tender for his sail boat.

The skiff was taken at night from Marina Cortez in San Diego, east of James and Joseph.

The RIB is 12.5' long with a 6hp Nissan, color gray, in used condition.

The RIB might still be in the water since it was taken at night and the nearest ramp is closed until may.

Pete has being diving for many years and has contributed to this forum for a long time.

He is getting his life in order after a rough patch and unable to post right now
Info and tips can be texted to : 619-436-8747.

Thanks in advance.

That's some cold blooded shit. Akin to stealing an old lady's walker.

Hope he finds it...

Can you believe the nerve?

Taken it from a Marina when the skiff is right next to the sail boat....

It makes my blood boil.

I was at work today and glanced up at the news as a boat had washed up overturned onto some rocks at Sunset Cliffs. Was it the same boat?

Thanks for the heads up but that is a Panga with 9 life jackets on it.

A drug smuggling probably.

Re: Stolen West Marine RIB model 350 6hp Nissan

This is a reminder to all of us to keep a manila file with the vin and hull numbers written down so you can file a report and get it into the NCIS computer system fast...A Parker stolen in San Diego was recovered at the launch ramp by the Queen Mary in Long Beach. Alerted west side patrol officers ran the vin numbers after a couple of suspicious guys were having trouble launching it a day later...hoho, hoho, it's off to jail we go....
