Hey, fellow Spearos-
SlurrySeal, the mythical AvoSurf and I had planned an epic San Clemente Island trip for the 23rd/24th of October with Captain Leo. This trip has been planned for months, but unfortunately, the majority of the island is now shut down for that weekend

. The military schedule may change, and the trip may move back to SCI, but for now 3 other divers dropped out and need to be replaced.

We're relocating to Catalina- which has been going off lately- YT and Bugs.

There's still a chance of SCI opening, but for now plan on Catalina. This is a 2 day trip, leaving early Saturday from Oceanside, coming back late Sunday.

We're looking for 3 more divers, the cost is $333 a piece. Includes meals, a spot to sleep on the Aries, and or course, the legendary good times of Leo himself.

This is a good chance to support Leo,

who contributes to most every event- OOF, Laguna Legacy, The Tuna Challenge... One of the few Captains specifically serving us Spearos!

Let me know if you're interested, and as Ploessel would say, attendees accepted by reverse order of douchiness!

Some additional notes about diving the Aries:

This is not a "cattle boat"- its a small charter of 5-6 divers
The boat is pure spearo; you won't be sharing space with bubble blowers
Leo will keep moving to help us find the right spot to get on fish and bugs- you're not stuck at 2 locations per day

This will be a fun weekend, and I'd doubt you'd find anything short of epic reviews of Captain Leo & The Aries!

+1 on that! Leo's always giving away free trips to the local dive community. If I had money for trips like this I'd be spending it on Leo. Awesome charter and a real fun guy to hang with. He'll do everything he can to put you on fish or bugs.

Leo is one of those guys that feels like you're diving on a friends boat the 1st time you meet him.

I'm going out with him this weekend. I recommend someone jam on this asap

I'd definitely go if I wasn't swamped with work that weekend. I also echo what everyone else says about Leo. He busted his ass on our trip to try and put us on fish and is cool as hell!
