Dive Report for Catalina 6/7 - 6/8/14
So a few of my friends and I did some diving at catalina last weekend and it was Pretty good water visibility was at an average of 25 feet, better in some spots. We stayed on the front side on the west end where the sport boats say they have been getting yellows. I didnt see any The wind was pretty bad and turned up the waters a bit. The water was at a steady 67deg. Alot of life but nothing the i wanted to shoot since i usually only go for big game. I dont think this swell is going to make things any better.

Big this and big that! I don't think you are grasping the point of this sport when it comes to capturing the essence of what the ocean has to offer. What ever happened to just getting away from work, enjoying the experience of being in an alien environment, finding a few smaller sized fish such as bass that make a decent meal or two and just realizing that the bigger stuff is just a bonus? C'mon, you've only been doing this for a year.

He doesn't usually shoot the smaller fish, he lets his girlfriend shoot them, the fish have a sporting chance with her on the trigger. She is still learning the sport and being taught correctly on what the sport is all about and doing it safely.

I only like to pull people's chains in fun(well, sort of). To each their own. As for me, I enjoyed eating the calicos that I harvested yesterday at dinner tonight.
