Re: cabo in shore report
I found a nice one the other day. On my way down to the beach my intentions were to just swim around and not bring the gun. I brought it. Water temp was 72 with clear viz. Did not see anything worth going after and felt that at least I wont be spending time processing fish. On the way back into the beach I thought I might as well check the small cave that I swam by on the way out. Dive down, look in and see the big fan tail and body. I dont like shooting into caves because of what ensues but I couldn't pass up the shot. Got the shot and the pargo goes out the the other end of the cave. I spent more time trying to figure out how to get out of this mess than I did swimming around. Got the fish to the beach with no damage done except shredded plastic on the cable line. Found a tourist from Kansas walking by and asked him to kindly snap a photo for me. I'm glad I brought the gun and glad to process a fish like this!
