Re: Welcome Lurkers!
Hey Spearboard, my name is Tony. I've been lurking for a while and registered recently. BadWillis is an old buddy of mine, and told me that I ought to get off my butt and set up an account. I'm in Kodiak AK, and have been doing some freediving and spearing with a couple guys up here. I'm glad to be here, the amount of experience and camraderie on this board is awesome! Thanks for having me, and PM if you're up this way.

Re: Welcome Lurkers!
Hello All -
My name is Santiago and I live in Miami, FL. I haven't been lurking that long, but I impulsively decided to join, since the Spearing bug bit me again. I speared during 2010, but lost all my equipment and stopped doing it...however, I am ready to go back into the water and I started to invest in my equipment... Hopefully, this board will introduce me to some people here that would not mind me joining them in the spearfishing trips...of the people that I know, I am the only one that does it :s... Looking forward to contributing to the board. |

Re: Welcome Lurkers!
Hey Everyone,
Glad I finally received approval to post. Oddly, I had to create my profile again because my first one never got approval. I started free diving and spearfishing only a 1-1/2 months ago. I dive off campus point, since I am a student at UCSB. If you see a dive flag just off the point then that is probably me since most spearos don't seem to use flags at this spot. If anyone goes to UCSB as well hit me up. |

Re: Welcome Lurkers!
hey all, I am Cem...I've been spearfishing since 2011 in Izmir, Turkey on the coast of Aegean Sea...
I'll be in Salem, New Jersey at the beginning of this summer as an immigrant and I'm looking forward to spearfishing on the coast of Atlantic. There are lots of questions about spearfishing in the USA in my mind... let's get it started |

Re: Welcome Lurkers!
Hey all,
My name is Habo. I am a recreational diver and I live in the Tampa area. I am new to spearfishing. I have spent years flats fishing in Tampa, St. Pete, and Sarasota, but began my spearing journey just a few weeks ago on a scuba spearing Charter. I am pleasantly amazed at the world I have been missing. I do not have a boat for offshore, but I have all my own gear and am willing to drive a ways to meet and go out. I understand how to share in expenses, cleaning, mooring, and prep responsibilities. Happy Spearing. |
