Cant thank all of our Sponsors and Divers enough for coming Strong this year to make the 2023 Louisiana Freedive Championships a great success!!!! We ended up having an awesome 3 days of diving some great weather, clean water, Big Fish and topped it all off by hanging out at Hurricane Hole Marina for the weigh in and festivities!! Saturday night we had some impressive fish weighed, the band jammed, and once again the energy in the crowd was electric!!
Huge Congratulations to Louisiana's own Tyler McDonald for taking king Skin Diver with two wild card African Pompano's weighing 34.2 and 33.3lbs We had a 2 way tie for 2nd place with Jeff Aguilard taking the lead with a first place 21 lb Hog Red Snapper and 45.3lb Cobia, and Logan Boudreaux taking 3rd with a 7.9 lb Sheepshead and Impressive wild card 33.1 lb Trippletail
our very own Abbie Woodard successfully reclaimed Queen Skindiver from Lucy Cardet after a hard fought battle between the two!!
The coveted Best Boat went to Capt Joe Wegmann in his custom rebuilt 1972 25' Bertram "Summer Breeze" with his Crew Bryan Lafosse Jeff Aguillard Beau Wegmann and Andre Torregrosa
