Easiest solution, and valid for every gun with a reel, is to sandwitch a piece of carbon fiber between the reel and the gun (may need to use longer screws) that sticks to the whichever side you want the camera and stick a GoPro base to the end of it (use screws as well, the two sided tape might not be enough).

You attach the camera with a lanyard to a solid point in the gun and click it in the base for fishing and unclick it for reloading the gun (so you don't rub your knuckles against it when pulling the bands).

I think this is much more robust than any other method that swings out of the way or whatever.
