Carbon fins
In the market for a pair of carbon fiber fins. For the price its looking like Mako is going to be the winner. Would love to hear any thoughts or suggestions. Thanks.

Re: Carbon fins
Just got a pair of Deep Apnea Biaxials for around $250 at Divers Direct. They are freakin wonderful. Upgraded from fiberglass and have been freediving for 3ish years in case youre wondering..

Re: Carbon fins
Just got a pair of carbon fiber fins from mako I have made about 10 dives on them all being on scuba and so far I’m very happy with them. I previously owned neptonics and lost one fin in rough seas and neptonics won’t sell just one, mako claims if you lose one they will sell just one, I also got the 2mil short sock and it’s very comfortable

Re: Carbon fins
The price is good on the makos but i've ready some bad reviews (these are leaderfin make).
I friend of mine was so dissatisfied with them he returned them. Although there is nothing really in that price range other than them. |

Re: Carbon fins
^ thanks for the update and sorry for spreading false information about it being leader-fin. I think you guys have the best customer service and I use a lot of your gear personally and it performs well so there is a commitment to quality at a great price point.
That shows in that you took the effort to switch carbon makes to a different blade to improve your product. A lot of companies as established as your probably wouldn't bother and just keep selling the leader fin. |

I received a pair of Mako carbon fins for Christmas and couldn’t be happier, the fins perform great and the icing on the cake is their customer service. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
