Apollo 13 Rebreather Emergency

Turns out the LiOH 'rebreather' systems for Apollo 13 Lunar Module were inadequate for returning to earth after mission abort. The Command Module was shut down and the rectangular canisters were inactive and incompatible with the cylindrical LM canisters. The issue was solved by pulling air thru the CM canisters with a suit return hose until re-entry.
