Custom Liofish containment device

I recently did a lion fish tourney here in Jax,The lion fish rodeo.Was a great time by the way.On a couple of the dives i crammed my containment device all the way full.I talked to some other divers at the tourney and a lot of them carry 2 devices with them on tournament days.I was tinkering around in the garage and at lowes and heres what i came up with.My favorite one is the clear plastic one cause it is super light weight and because you can see your catch when you get back on the boat.The materials literally cost me $150 bucks and i made 3 of them.I still have enough material(the clear tube)to make one more.I have seen some custom ones made out of 6 in. plumbing pipes and 5 gallon clear water bottles.Has anyone else made some custom ones?If so share them,we would like to see.thanks

Where did you find the tube and all the supplies?

We'll the green pipe is basin thin wall plastic plumbing pipe 6 inch from lowes.and the clear pipe was from a company called US plastics.The fittings are all 6 inch plugs and slip fittings.It's basic plumbing work if u know how

Thanks Johnoly.....yeah the clear one is my favorite one.Im gonna go put it to use on Friday.Hopefully fill it up a couple times and make some ceviche

So I looked at ab plastics. Did you have to do a custom order for that clear tube?

No I just called them and ordered it.Its a 6 inch thin wall pipe by 6 foot long.If you do order one PM me and I could give you a couple tips to make easier to put together

Curious what you ended up spending on this? The 6" pipe is $20+ a ft

well I called them and they charged me less.$70 bucks for a 6 foot piece,then all the fittings were fairly inexpensive.u could also get a 10 ft by 6 inch pipe from lowes for $40 and make 3 of them

I'm looking to make one out of a bollard cover. http://www.innoplast.com/products/bo.../standard.html 7" ID. It won't be as nice as yours but hopefully it does the trick.
