Hello Guys,
It’s been a while since our last post here on spearboard, we have been away from the computers but not from spearfishing. In fact we have been very busy working on new projects, new locations and now we have a lot more to offer. Starting now, we are offering custom trips to virtually any dive spot in south Baja. With the addition of a 27 ft PowerKat powered by twin Hondas 225’s and a brand new 250 Suzuki on “La Pistasha” our sweet Angler panga, and with great electronics we have no doubt that we offer the best spearfishing fleet in Baja. We are offering trips here in La Paz, Los Cabos, East Cape, San Evaristo, and the Pacific, by the way, the Pacific season has already started this year! Thanks Virgil,
YFT are kind of rare in La Paz, its a lot more common on the east cape or cabo. October - February are the best times. This one was take about 10 miles from shore. |

Very nice! I dont see any trip prices on the site? There were few $600 gift certificates at the prize table @BBO tournament, I am sure few FL guys will be coming soon. Was wondering how far $600 gets you in Baja

Hello Man-O-War.
We are on the process of updating the website with trip prices and the latest trip reports. Just to give you an idea we charge $750 for a 3 day package based on 3 divers out of La Paz. It includes transportation 3 days of fishing in La Pistasha and lodging as well as some meals. $850 all inclusive in San Evaristo. These prices are per person based on 3 divers. |

Water has been super warm the past couple of months pushing away all the wahoo toward cooler water, but yesterday we started seeing a bunch of wahoo close to La Paz, that is good news I am sure this fall is going to be a good year for Wahoo.

Just got back from our last trip with our friends from Peru, we did a multi-day trip to San Evaristo first and then down to Cabo, fishing has been excellent since the hurricane both at the reefs and Bluewater.

Hello guys, it was a slow start for the season but we can officially say the Yellowtails are here! One of our favorite fish to hunt and eat in Baja.
