Anyone have experience with the Saturn 11' Pro Angler Fishing SUP?
Looks like a pretty good deal for someone like me who is trying to find a solution for limited space at home (inflatable packs down to 33"x13"x13") and is on a limited budget as well, but don't want to waste money on something that isn't decent.

You might try a rental place to try one out.The ATX line was built for the rental market(abuse)because of storage and no hard surfaces.
I have several type paddleboards.I usually recommend people try different boards before dropping a grand or more on a board so I know they are happy with their purchase.
OUR PAC model is well built and packs well but the other boards are much faster on the water.Everything has a trade off.Either in speed,tracking,stability,weight capacity or being able to cut waves if you get some good surf.

Our inflatables are very comfortable to get on and off.You can easily sleep on one.Not advertising a thousand dollar board on top of your car for all to see has its benefits too.I can throw a few PACs in the back of the truck for quick trips to Florida just in case I have time to kick back.
Down side is inflatables wont handle like a hard board.On a long tour the guy on the inflatable is at the back of the pack BUT your still on the water!

We used yoloyak boards by yolo all summer and they work very well. We put in some extra bridges and hooks for bungees so we can get everything secured down. They have a lot of deck space for storage. Being root-molded they can really take a beating.

Down side is they are heavy. Two people can easily carry two at the same time. But one person it is tough to carry one. So best if you regularly hunt with a buddy.

I rent them on South Padre if anyone is around and wants to try one.

Supglow light tubes on foil boards.We have been using two of their SUP lights per board and they light the area around the board very well.Fish swim up to the board attracted to the light.They would be good for lobster season too.

Went on the lake with no kids or grandkids.Had the Island to ourselves.Cigar is a Rocky Patel Decade.Wifey doesnt look to bad for 51!

OK so I have now speared off an inflatable SUP, the giant roto-molded ones and single and tandem kayaks. Here are pros and cons I found.

Inflatable SUP:
- easy to transport
- fairly light weight

- easy to pop (we like sharp and pointy things)
- takes awhile to pump it up
- not very durable
- mine is only 10 ft so not much room for gear

Big Roto SUP
- very durable
- easy access to gear
- super stable
- decent room for gear
- easy to customize

- need big vehicle
- heavy
- slow

Kayak
- very durable
- decent room for gear
- easy to customize
- fastest of the three
- not too heavy

- need big vehicle
- can be a pain to access gear

I would choose the Roto SUP if I had less distance to paddle as I like the easy access to all the gear strapped down on the deck. In the end I go for the kayak as I can get out/in much faster. I fill the hull and top storage areas so sometimes I end up with gear I want buried in the hull. Generally with some planning you can pack the hull so right and not have the issue. We don't have viz when there are waves but if I had to paddle thru waves I would do the yak for sure.
