Homosassa 6-24-21 spearing
The plan was to go out to 50' to 60' but it got bumpy so we stopped in 30' shallow reefs. Vis was 25 plus until the tide started in and the current started ripping. Vis dropped to 15 or so. Spent all my time really looking hard under deep undercuts which turned out to be very productive. I was using my new 3500 lumen light mounted on my trusty Ocean Rhino. I was able to see where all the gags and big mango were hanging out. It was a pain extracting the ones I didn't stone but well worth it. Passed on some large gags that I knew I might never recover. The gag in the pic is 26".
