Looking for 2 or 3 divers for next week

looking for divers for next week... I have boat, numbers, and 4 tanks.. my brother in law is mid 70s and use to go everyweek with me, but going blind now and might not be able to dive much anymore..anyway I have 25 foot proline with twin yama's and all the electronics one can pack on the dash.. next week im off tuesday and wednesday, and might be off early enough monday to go.. but tuesday is probally the day im looking at.. usually do 4 tanks, usually 70 foot range on smaller ledges, coming in to mid 50's or 60 foot for the last dives,, usually get limits of hog fish and mango;s.. and sometimes scamp and red grouper.. only problem is we usually look at nice fat gag's every dive, but june is coming..need at least 2 divers to help these crazy fuel prices..you can private IM me or respond back on this post..My email is.. Re: Looking for 2 or 3 divers for next week

We normally do two divers up, and two divers down and hit 8 ledges,, that way there is not 4 divers on every spot.. forgot to put this on my thread.. makes for better up times.. also im diving 32 percent nitrox..

Wish I could join you but work keeps getting in the way M-F. I do have a lot of time off coming in June and July, though - hit me up!

That's Lucky!
I've only Ever seen ONE scamp in less than 150' of water here, and it was SO SMALL!
And of cource...I like Scamp The Most!

I see a lot of scamp in about 70' on the ledges here in the Tampa area, but they're all about 16". The limit for scamp is only 16", but then there's the yellowmouth that to my untrained eye looks scary similar, so I never was brave enough to shoot one of the little scamps.

Scamp

Yellowmouth

I don't have a lot of dive trip time lately, but it's nice to see you on here offering rides!

I look at the top and bottom of the tail for the "whip" to identify a Scamp.

I’ve never shot one either……..by the time I realize what it is and then remember it’s a 16” minimum, not gag size limit, it’s too late. My eyes are trained for mangos, gags, hogs and cobia.
