Question: Mercury Outrage 2.0 Repair Estimate
My dad purchased a 27' 1999 Outrage 2.0, and wanted to do some repairs.
Looking for an estimate on parts, mechanics rate is $90/hour for labor. I have the prices on some parts, but on others I have no idea. -Timing Belt has come loose ($40) -Leaking Oil from the right motor/prop(?) -Right motor also running very rough, knocking at less then 5 knots (timing chain/belt problem) -New Fish Finder or GPS Combo ($400-$800?) -Re-Wiring everything (?) -Re-Painting the hull (?) -Boat Cleaning. Lots of rusted hooks in the cubbys/fish hold by the previous owner. Cleaned it as best I could but there are still rust stains and dirt. -Re-do parts of the console and and engine controls Any help would be much appreciated.
