Re: improving Pathos Sniper Roller 95
Found it. The original distance from the back of the handle to the trigger was 67mm. The 6mm decrease in combination with the modification on the shape of the handle make a huge difference. The handle now fits like a glove but more importantly my arm aligns naturally with the gun absorbing the recoil much better.
And yes this gun still has recoil albeit being a roller. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: improving Pathos Sniper Roller 95
FYI
In comparison the d’Angelo2 handle with the pistol grip has a reach of 74mm. If I hold the grip the way I should I can only reach the trigger with the tip of my finger on the side of the trigger. I am measuring exactly from the trigger. The parallax of the lens gives a distorted view. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: improving Pathos Sniper Roller 95
Thank you so much for taking your time with those measurements. I am going to measure some of my guns and see what distances I have in them. That should help me figure out if I would be able to use Pathos handles or not.

Re: improving Pathos Sniper Roller 95
Two more modifications. To the roller head this time. Cut off the rest tab for the flopper and replaced it with a stainless steel one that is slightly longer than the original. Because of the new mechanism the spear moved forward slightly and the flopper didn’t rest anymore. I think it is a nice feature and wanted to make it useful again. Steel rest tab is epoxied in place. Also adjusted the ramp for the wishbone slightly. Now the wishbone is slowed down just enough so the spear can leave the track before it gets lifted by the wishbone riding the ramp. Should increase accuracy. Have to put it to the test. The only mod I can think of to increase performance would be to add ceramic bearings. It would be a huge project on its own to have them made and make new rollers to go with it. Not worth the effort at this point since this gun has been slaying plenty of fish.
