Offsets change even out of the same port. Using the GP32 and putting the offsets in works for other spots in the same general area. Move 20 miles and you might need to re-calibrate. Software like...

Think of it as a grown man's Easter egg hunt where the old TD's are saying "warmer"... In my mind, "hunting" starts way before you flip over the side and the search for the spot is part of the fun!

Cool. Geography is a bit different on your side... I've only got one number marked as a spring out of about 3500 or so in the collection. So, I guess I will keep poking around it until I find out.

That makes sense, but I got a book from a commercial guy here and they aren't divers. Spot is in like 100'. I haven't found a spring yet though, only a ledge nearby. My numbers are Loran...

Dan, question for you... I've seen the word "spring" used before in commercial books. Is this really a freshwater spring dumping into the ocean? Also, how is this determined\verified?
