There you go! Good job man. Theres other options to buying a line anchor. If you can get some 3/16 aluminum or stainless, or even brass you make an anchor pretty easy. Another option is drill a hole...

Don't give up on trying to get some decent material. Finding a teak or mahogany blank for 120 bucks or less is a tall order, and at the dimensions you listed earlier 120 would barely cover the cost...

Where are you located? If you have a home depot, there's got to be a place to get some decent hardwood. If you go to a hardwood supplier, I'll bet you can get the same amount of paduak or mahogany...
