If you put a level on the trailer frame, is the frame running down hill to the hitch?
If so get a raised Reese to level the frame when hanging on the ball and re weigh at that height.:toast:

Why the jack plate on the boat?
Does the hull need a motor with a 20" shaft, and the ETEC has 25"? "

I believe you need to prop that motor with one that allows it to rev up to max rated RPM.
I would want it to live a long and happy life.

If it will not pull to the rev limiter with a light load I would be looking for a lesser prop.
I would see no reason for a 4 blade on such a shallow draft light weight boat

That honeycomb material won' t hold a screw. Cosaboard is what I used for decking and transome. The next owner or three will thank me for building a wood free boat.

You might like the Panga ride better in a chop. The long skinny hulls just don't transmit the slam like you are used to getting with your whaler.

These boats do not have to get over the hump to climb up onto plane.
They have little bow rise when accelerating. They run at speed on a flat pad in the stern. With no dead rise what so ever, hull...
