What does the hatch provide access to? I can't see anything in the pics. Can you just screw the hatch down, then just screw the leaning post to the hatch? If there isn't anything you need to get...

Wow! Really makes you wonder about the skills of the guy that cut the hatches. Looks like he wanted better access to the bilge pump and battery, but why cut them so big that you can hardly install...

If it runs well where it's set and doesn't break loose on sharp high speed turns, leave it where it is. My guess is that he needed it higher than the transom for optimum performance. You can raise...

If you really are at 2500 lb. dry, by the time you add fuel, water, dive gear, ice, tools etc, you will be over 3000. That's about one curb or pot hole away from a bent axle. If your 2500 lb....

I'm curious why you want to replace a 19 BW with a Panga style boat. The whaler is going to be way more stable, especially in a beam sea, but will require more hp due to it's additional weight and...
