He did blackout before hitting the surface. You first see him have a Loss of Motor Control (LMC) at about 10 feet or so. LMC is indicated by his inability to maintain his breath hold.

Saturday went 20 miles out of Morehead with 50 feet of visibility down to 70 feet. Surface was clouded a bit by particulate but I could see our dive plate from the surface down through it. Bottom...

Went out yesterday about 8 miles out of Topsail with top to bottom visibility........NOT!!!! Actually it was about 20 feet on the surface and about 10 on the bottom. Anyone else???

Ventured out of CB today about 20 miles. Vis was probably 50 down to 60 then probably 30-35 on the bottom.

Out around the schoolhouse complex yesterday with 50 ft of vis. Bottom 1/3 down to about 25 ft. Not bad.

Jeff, sorry man. I didn't even know I was going and my buddy showed up at 1230. Wind cranked all morning and we went anyway. Spur of the moment. Took us an hour and a half to travel 10 miles

15 miles out of wrightsville today. Vis approx. 80 feet down to 55 feet then went to 20 feet on the bottom. Fish scarce but limit attained on grouper. Two fish is plenty

Visibilty Report July

Went out 15 miles out of Wrightsville today with just shy of top to bottom visibility in 70 feet of water. Now if this stiff NE wind would stop blowing.
