Good to hear from you!

Yes, I'm still here in CA. However, six months ago I moved from Santa Barbara and now live up in Berkeley with my girlfriend. Even though I no longer have the ocean as my backyard, I still get my water time by working as a surf instructor in Pacifica. I love sharing my knowledge and passion for the ocean with the kids, just like the older guys did to me when I was a grom, haha.

Right now my time in the states is winding down as Jamie and I are leaving in mid-September to live/work/travel in Chile and South America for 6-8 months. For me, this plan has been in the works for more than a year, and it's finally beginning to come to fruition. Very exciting stuff.

Anywho, that's probably waaay more info about what's goin' on with me than you wanted to know, haha. How are things with you? Are you still teaching K-38? I hear there is now a big wave world tour headed up by Gary Linden. Are you involved at all with this project?

I am trying to get a file of the pics you took, just the two of my daughter and I at the awards banquet.
