Yeah your friend could hit plany of rocky points just .5 miles away from shore, a lot of reef hunting is going on in the cost of punta mita,, he could go El morro itīs like 4 miles away from shore, and big pargos can be found there, He just need to get there and ask... if he is willing to take a chart that would be the easiest way to donīt get lost and hit the right spot,, but when not a couple of spots can be seen very easily.. Anyways the fishing is always good in that area
