Hmmm dont know much bout kauai ive only been on oahu... Lots of opputunies in hawaii though everything from reef to bluewater species. parrotfish "uhu", Ulua "jack several diff species", mahi mahi, wahoo "ono", tuna. Kauai deff is one of the better islands to dive I hear, but i know on the big island there are a few charters you can go out on specifically for spearfishing. Well I hope you enjoy hawaii and good look on landing some good fish!

Hey Sparky, the Auction is on Wednesday April 4th, at Me & Ed's Pizza in Lakewood Ca. It is Paramount blv at Carson st. It might be Long Beach instead of Lakewood, the boundaries are right tyhere. But for sure you should come down. It is a little tough to meet people on that night, standing room only if your late, but lot's of spearboarders show up at this one. Come down a nd introduce yourself, we will be happy to show you around.
Also, the deals if you need gear new or used are terrific! Don't miss it.
Put out a note on spearboard for another Norcal guy to rideshare with you, another good way to meet divers and split cost's.

first time on spearboard . never went to the auction,but i thingk it could be prity cool. i know ive red it here 1 time or another but please let me know the time & place thank. its at a pizza joint w/ beer & where. sorry im from s. b. & im just now trying to get to know other spearos. thanks alot
