Hello, my name is James Stack. I am trying to get in touch with you in regards to a thread that you posted on spear board in 2014 , regarding your desire to submit a proposal to the DNR/NRC in hopes of changing or expanding some of the spearfishing laws in your state. I am currently involved in an almost identical effort with a group of friends, consisting of some of the most dedicated and influential spearos in my home State of Michigan. Like yourself(s), it is our desire to see some if not all species of edible game fish added to the list of species we are allowed to harvest. For this reason, I am getting in touch with as many people as I can who appear to have been involved in this process in the past. If you are willing we would all be extremely grateful for any strategy, info, data, etc you might be able to contribute to our cause.
