Oh bitchin! If you have a car your set. Im CG and was there Nov10-Nov11. The best spot I found was near the Khalifa Bin Salman Port just past Hidd. Google earth it, on the left when you drive out is a huge rock break wall. Shot many grouper and jack. Had huge king fish around me frequently but didnt have a break away float to get them. Id go there honestly. You can walk down the break wall either and I never had problems leaving the car on the side of the road. The water was almost always clear. Never got to night dive it but always wanted too. I have a few other spots but they were never that great. Keep me posted and take pics!

Navy, got a little bit of time left here before I get back home. I do have a vehicle, hopefully that opens up a few more options for me. How long ago were you out here?

Hey, how's it going? I am currently deployed in Bahrain and was hoping you could point me in the right direction. Any spots I can get in on some fish without a boat? I am using a 8' pole spear and would love to at least get out in the water on some large hamour or anything really. Any advice, locations or info is appreciated. Unfortunately it's not the best time of year but I just need to get my feet wet before heading through the pacific on the return trip. Thanks!!

hey thanks for the invite my wife works in Portland maybe some weekend we can hook up and do some fishin. like I said I only have a sling mask and flippers and an old winter wetsuit hope that's enough.

MRW is having that party next weekend. I spoke to his wife and it is also his 50th birthday that week. So she wanted us to bring him some gag gifts and such. His wife is providing a cake. Kinda a surprise.
