Aloha Daryl,

I recently picked up the Bluewild Gun you had made for the expo off someone here on spearboard. The guy who sent it to me could not possibly have sent me the right bands for the gun since they looked fairly used. I need to make a set for the gun. What diameter and length do the bands need to be for the 55" Magnum that I have.

there aren't many dive charters that take spearfisherman out. The North shore is pretty good for shore diving. To the right of Haleiwa harbor is pretty good and also on the right side of the channel. If you can get to Mokuleia, at the end of the road is good too. ALl the was to Keana pt.
If you want to do a dive trip, there is a charter fromKauai to Niihau that is pretty good. There is a lot of fish there and more than what you'll see any where else.
I havea bunch of friends from NJ. Adam Sherrer from barnegat was just here. and I also have a few from farmingdale.

Hi Daryl, My name is Tyler. Im from New Jersey and have been spearfishing for some years now. I am now living on the north shore of Oahu and am looking for some advice on some good spots or even putting together a trip with some guys. I am familiar with your guns and am looking to order one in the near future. I ordered an Aimrite last year and it has been a great gun so far. Some dive buddies from home said to send you a message and that you could probably point me in the right direction. If you know of any good dive charters let me know please. Or if you ever need a dive partner im willing to pay for some gas or whatever you need. Ive been here for about six months now and im dying to start diving. get back to me when you can.
