Looks like you would know the most about the Yucatán. Headed to Tulum. What areas are illegal and legal to spearfish on the Yucatán?

Hola cancun, am over in isla mujeras till saturday and was wondering how spearing is here. Locals seem wary and not to much info is being coughed up. Didn't bring any guns and the weather has been uncooperative. Have you been able to get out at all? Thnx
