The best gun I found to start with if you want a band gun is a Paduak(thats the wood type) 36 in AB billar, I've had My 42 Mahogony for five years and it still shoots great(this is a les expensive gun then the Paduak. As far as pneumatics go if you can find a Cyrano 700 that will do alot, I have a Cyrano 1100 and will shoot anything from 10 1/2 in scup to 40 lb bass with head shot no problem however the 1100 is tuff to load.
