It's been a while since we last spoke. We. Chatted back and forth a while back but never ended up diving together. No that I've had a chance to get my gear right for Nor Cal I'd love an opportunity to dive with you. Please let me know if you are interested. I have a vacation coming up for the next two weeks and would really like to do some hunting during that time if you are available.
Sorry if you didn't get this earlier. I usually use PM, and I don't think I sent the visitor message right the other day.
I don't know. I've never held one of those lights, so I don't know the dimensions. I can make a mount for the Predator easy enough, because it's a standard 28mm diameter barrel. But if I do make a batch of light mounts, it would only be practical if I make them to fit certain lights. Otherwise, every mount turns into a custom job, and would take me much longer.
Sounds great Scott. I'm in the market & 30' w/o a case is pretty damn good & the price seems right. Hey, any chance of sneaking a mid-week dive in (maybe Thur)? I can be down Carmel way around tenish after I drop my guys off at school. Let me know. Thanks. Tommy

The camera is a good starter. I don't need to worry about a case. It's a little heavy, but takes good pics. The video is great as well. I used the video underwater for the first time on Sat, and I have watched the three clips I made over and over. I catch myself holding my breath when I'm watching. I saw that Fry's had it on sale for like $350ish?
Like I said, I'm happy with it for now. Just have to be careful because it's only good to 30ft.
One day I'll spend the money on a "real" dive camera. This one's good for now.
Hi Bill-yeah, the contact I have is on the Big Island but I know there are people on Maui who are willing to take freedivers out but it kind of depends on where you are staying. I believe there is a Maui Divers store. Good luck and have a great time. Be safe out there.
