I will be in the area of playa del coco for 2 weeks and then for a week between there and tamarindo. Looking to do some spearfishing. Will be bringing my gear and a 110cm gun. Would love any info/advice/suggestions you can give on the area and resources as well as maybe an occasional dive buddy for spearing. Cheers.

Hey mate I am heading to costa rica in a few days.. I'm currently in bocas del toro.. Any chance of getting out for a dive in the next 7 days? How has the vis/fish life been lately?

Hey mate, hows it going?

I am flying to panama on the 8th of May and plan on being there for a few weeks to get some diving in..Hopefully i will get onto some tuna! I am then going to head towards nicuagura and through costa rica..Is there any good diving to be had in Costa around May-July? Any info you could give me would be much appreciated! I would be super keen to get out for some diving in Costa Rica!

If you are ever heading to Australia let me know..I dive every weekend the weathers good and we have good diving year round here in QLD!

Bombard, I found your post in a google search and I was pumped because I am planning a trip down there end of April and beginning of May. I plan on doing some spearfishing for sure! would love to talk to you about places to stay and some charters. It will either be just me or +1. I'm an experienced diver and will be bringing all of my gear down. I am looking to do some blue water and maybe some reef diving over my stay! Hey bombard whats up man? My name is Alec and I am studying here in san jose for the year and wanting to give polespearing a try just for fun. Me and my buddy have been going to Nosara on the weekend for the past months doing some surfing in Quiones. I have been looking for a hawiian sling to buy and mess around with but I can only seem to find spearguns. I am thinking about making it up there this weekend and was wondering if you know a place I might be able to pick one up? If you know of anything I would greatly appreciate the help man!
