There are 7 stages of boat ownership...#7 is: the fish are in and you don't give a damn, you just want to get rid of all the boat, truck and trailer headaches...I have been at stage #6 for 4 years!
Volume of squid showing in the closed area backside...wsb'ing was good near east end backside just before the recent storms hit....fish were up shallow..good luck, Bob
There is some volume of squid above and below the Isthmus...seabass and yellowtail showing....go get em'....backside from east end to Salta Verde...ditto....
Hi Juan, My name's Warren and am planning on being over at Avalon on the 19th and 20th of Nov. (My sister in law is running a marathon there on the 20th, so we're having sort of a family get togethre). Anyway, I'm a northern CA spearo and would love to get out for whatever's happening, if conditions allow. Do mostly hole hunting up here, but have done blue water spearing in Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and the Azores.
Not sure if you take guys out or need crew to pitch in for your own dive trips, but I'd be down for either. I haven't been to Catalina in probably 6 or 7 years and guessing it's pretty easy to rent a car to get to the Isthmus? My cell is 925 876 3373 Thanks!
