Do you have access to a vehicle or at least a bike as most spots are a bit aways from the Navy base? What branch are you?

Hey, how's it going? I am currently deployed in Bahrain and was hoping you could point me in the right direction. Any spots I can get in on some fish without a boat? I am using a 8' pole spear and would love to at least get out in the water on some large hamour or anything really. Any advice, locations or info is appreciated. Unfortunately it's not the best time of year but I just need to get my feet wet before heading through the pacific on the return trip. Thanks!!
