    Kevin,
Did you check out the video on the viz for Palos? The diving should be good on Wednesday- what have you found out about the swell? With the added technique of zero splash from David, we should get a seabass!

So I went in to the doctor today to make sure I wasn't doing any damage to my ears and they told me I just have some fluid behind my ear drum and I have a nice sinus infection. I then asked if I should stay out of the water and they told me that in or out of the water wouldn't matter just has to run its course. so game on. Well we do have some time before the season opens on lobster. That buddy I have up north towards malibu lives for lobster season. He has already asked me to come up and fish at mid-night on the opener. Should be interesting. Any word on the red tide going on in long beach? Has to be coming to an end sometime soon.

Now that we saw a lobster and know we can find them, we need to get a hold of some Spiny Lobster report cards from the DFG before the month is over. The nearest office is located in Long Beach - 330 Golden Shore, Suite 50, Long Beach, CA 90802 (562)590-5132.

    Kevin,
I took my brother to Royal Palms State Beach in Palos Verdes for the day and tried my luck at a quick dive. Bad Idea; the visibility was terrible and the current could only be described as a torrent. I dogged a field of urchin and pounding surf against rocks just to get in. Fifteen minutes into it, I figured it was best to call it and return to shore -easier said than done. Going out the way I went in was impossible. I had to swim out passed all the kelp and the upstream like an "OLD" salmon to his death. The quarter mile swim north left me beyond exhausted (probably thanks to my little fins) and it is my life’s goal to never repeat a swim like that again.
I was reminded of Josh's statement about diving from shore and how futile such dives would seem after our dives. Today, I am total agreement- I miss the wall already.

    Stay away from this place!!!

Well the offer was originally for him anyway so glad he jumped on board. I am actually planning on hitting up Malibu (point dume) with a couple of friends tomorrow I would of course rather be on a boat but I already committed to the other guys. You are welcome to come out if you want so far there are going to be three of us myself and a couple of young guys (17) If they bail on me I will let you know as early as I can. I will also shoot a invite over to surferdude.
I am free all week if you have any other ideas.
    Thanks for the invite
