How to Load a Roller Gun
Hey Guys:
We had a few questions from customers about how to load a roller gun, so I made this short video showing the two options. Hope it is helpful. I have really enjoyed shooting the roller guns. They are powerful and accurate and recoil is (more or less) eliminated. A fun gun to shoot and I have found the ability to use a somewhat shorter gun - compared to a traditional speargun. Thanks Dano

Re: How to Load a Roller Gun
What length and diameter spearshafts do you provide/recommend for your roller guns? Thank you.

Re: How to Load a Roller Gun
Thanks for the inquiry.
We use shafts that are 40 cm longer than the gun, so for a 100 cm gun we use a 140 cm shaft. We are selling our guns with 7 mm shafts with shark fin tabs.

I realize you recommend sharkfin shafts, but will a notched shaft work too? Or would the shooting line attached to the butt end be an entanglement problem? Does that trigger mech accept 7.5mm shafts alright? Thank you. |

I see no reason why a notched shaft would not work, there is sufficient clearance in the mech housing to use a shaft with a rear attachment. I don't envision any entanglement hazards that would arise with the roller muzzle. The mech will accept 7.5 mm shafts. You may have to bend or "train" the mono loop to fit well when first rigging it. I should also add (for the benefit of divers who may not be familiar with an enclosed track) that a shark fin tabbed shaft is necessary for an enclosed track. This fact would be obvious if you had the items in your hand in front of you, but I thought I should mention that since an enclosed track "pipe" gun is not common. We will be offering an open and enclosed track option for both the Titan Elite (standard muzzle) and also the Titan Roller Muzzle gun. You can order the Enclosed Track options over the phone and the website should be updated to allow that very soon. Thanks dano
