Cressi comanch spear

I bought a spear for my new gun from cressi ,spear fit the comanche gun ,as in pictures the shark fin have been welded laser fillet weld but not all around ,only both side ,slavimar spear weld all around to prevent the internal corrosion of weld bead ,is their any way to prevent that? ,usually the fin will be break sooner
its like a control the life cycle so you have to buy again (solution rather than weld)

If you use them for spearfishing, they'll bend before anything else happens. Don't worry and get them wet.

Spray the tabs with WD40 after each dive if you are worried about it. Wash the spears first to get any saltwater off. WD40 drives any trapped water out.

Re: Cressi comanch spear

WD40 will swollen the bands. I would just rinse and worry about shooting fish.
