Accidentally Shooting a Jew Fish

An old video I thought I could post. About 7 yrs ago, before my son could out shoot me.

It is so weird, if you see with them in places where few people dive, they pretty much ignore you and are zero problem. If you dive where they are trained, they will come up and meet you in the water column and cause huge problems.

This video was a total accident and I think it served as a good lesson for my young teenage (at the time) son, to pay attention to what is behind the target.

Re: Accidentally Shooting a Jew Fish

When I was a kid in the 70's I deliberately shot but did not realize wasn't legal to harvest...a 14" Snook! Brought to the boat, Dad did a but realized the fish was a goner so...into the box and hoped no harvest check by GW. As a Scout I was prepared to own up but...no check. Very careful in the future shooting around the jetties to insure my target ID BEFORE nailing it.
