Scuba Fever. Scuba Fever. Scuba Fever. Go 4 for 4! Seriously, a really good running boat that has landed a lot of fish. Arch with enclosure is really nice and the motor is low hours!

Re: Thinking about selling the whaler

I love that radar arch. All 3 of my whalers are 1979, and I just put a new Evinrude 150 on my best one. Whats he asking? For the right price .....

BTW, my Wellcraft cc is maybe 4 or 5 boats from your Whaler at King Harbor. I hope to say hi one day but I hardly go out on weekends - Mike L.

Re: Thinking about selling the whaler

$15k. And the motor has only 400 hours on it. It would cost that much just to buy a new Honda 150 much less boat, trailer, arch.

Do you have the boat with the Honda outboard?

Re: Thinking about selling the whaler

Dave's boat has a 150 Honda 4 stroke with under 400 hours, if I recall correctly. Dry docked at ramp so has not sat in water.

Re: Thinking about selling the whaler

Unfortunately, only 90 hp 4 stroke. That be me. I was out this morning. Boats love to be used and I'll leave it at that before I start making comparisons to women. My boat doesn't give me any grief and I'm working on a 15'5" Zodiac with a 60 hp 4 stroke at home. Two is better than one. And better yet a threesome.......Whalers.

Re: Thinking about selling the whaler

Hi DaveJ, Hope you don't mind I am using your thread as a reference to ask a question related to the 21' boat topic

Hi guys,
Does anyone if I can use my 2008 ford ranger 3.2 to pull one similar to this (19'-21')?

Thanks everyone

Re: Thinking about selling the whaler

Just do some research online and find out how much the boat/trailer weighs.
Then see the tow rating of the car.
You can tow much higher than the car is rated for but may not be safe. And if you get into accident, insurance won’t cover if you are over the towing capacity of the car.
