yesterday- vis was 5-8 feet depending on depth and tide on Brenton reef. Lumpy surface conditions. Lots of fish around. Wondering if this thread has died out.

South end of Jamestown today. Vis was about 6-8 feet. Water is still in the 60's. First day it's been warmer a few feet down. Tons of fish around. Got 2 black seabass, slot striper and 5 nice togs....

Beavertail today- all sorts of undersize fish at 20-40 feet. One tautog, one trigger and a bluefish made it into the cooler. Vis went from <6 to about 10 with tide shift.

Brenton Point yesterday outgoing tide. Vis was 10-12. Went home with a tautog, 2 triggers and two mackerel.

6-8 feet in Newport Monday. Lots of fish around. togs, triggers, black seabass and some slot stripers.

Yesterday Jamestown Hull Cove- water 72F, saw about a dozen stripers which were mostly too small and a couple too big for the slot. Managed a couple of nice togs. Viz was 4-5ft. Water is milky and...

Dove West Passage near Jamestown Bridge, bottom of incoming tide. Water temp 72F, vis 4ft. Lots of nice togs, did not see much else.

In the water Sunday in Jamestown. Water temp 57, vis 10' maybe a bit more. Plenty of togs around, some decent ones mixed in with all the shorts. Saw a couple of schoolie bass and some scup too.

Got in the water yesterday in Wickford for an hour in my 5mm to clean the bottom of the boat. Surprisingly tolerable. Water was 46F and vis was at least 15ft. Tog opening day is coming!

Spearing around the island from shore or boat is about as good as it gets.

Striper regs are one fish per day between 28-35 inches. This slot is new this year and makes selecting a fish underwater...

Beavertail yesterday early morning, incoming tide, super foggy. Tons of fat togs in shallow. Vis was 8-10. Got my first striper of the year. Just shy of 35". This new slot sizing is challenging.

Jamestown early this morning, conditions were pretty solid. Lots schoolies with some 32-36" keepers mixed in. Got my one fish at 35". Vis was 8-12ft. Water was 60. Wondering if anyone is seeing any...

Castle Hill area yesterday on the outgoing tide. Limited on togs, got one trigger, missed my chance on a large lone bass. Vis was 6-8 feet.

Beavertail this afternoon, bottom of tide. Initially vis was around 8-9, dropped to 4-5 as tide picked up. Shot two togs. My bad for not realizing BSB were open again as of today... some nice ones...

North of Newport Bridge today vis was about what you'd expect after lots of wind and rain, maybe 3-4 feet, incoming tide.

Moved to East Passage 4-8 feet, incoming tide, limited on togs. Tons of...

High Tide vis 7-9 feet, quickly dropped below 5

Limited on Togs

Saw many schoolies, couple close to legal.

Ocean Drive Newport Yesterday. Vis was 6-8 feet most places. Couple of bluefish, lots of bold togs, no stripers seen.

Hull Cove Jamestown, top of tide this morning, vis ranged from 3-9 feet. Saw about a dozen bass 20-24". Lots of small tog, got two keepers. Lots of bait in the water.
